Our team has been the prime contractor for Empower Field since 2011 when they installed the Broncos stadium’s first DAS. Since 2011, they have worked on 14 projects with the most recent being a new neutral host DAS (NH-DAS) with the latest technology.
The current NH-DAS utilizes a CommScope ERA system which is owned and managed by Verizon Wireless. The system covers the entire stadium, 1.8M square feet, including concourses, suites, bowl seating, and all non-public spaces. Our team designed, installed, commissioned, integrated, converted to 5G and maintains this NH-DAS.
Empower Field at Mile High capacity is 76,125 fans encompassing 1.8 million square feet with five levels of seating, including 8,200 club seats and 144 luxury suites. When the stadium is at full capacity, cellular users generate 5-10 terabytes of data on Carrier networks during a 3-hour game.
